In Manitou springs we have our own water plants. To treat our water. Water comes mainly from snow melt on pikes peak! (75%) Some of the surface water comes from the Mississippi watershed and goes through 6 quality tests per month to ensure water safety and purity. In Colorado Springs approximately 65% of water comes from snow melt. The other 35% of water comes from reservoir of Aspen, Leddville, and Breckenridge.
